The Minnesota Dachshund Club ("MDC"), founded in 1945, is a
non-profit organization dedicated to the improvement and welfare
of the Dachshund breed. Our members participate in a wide
variety of activities with our Dachshunds: conformation shows,
obedience trials, earth dog tests, field trials, tracking
trials, and Canine Good Citizen tests and therapy dog work. The Club is licensed by The American
Kennel Club ("AKC") to hold these events under AKC rules. |

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENTS:
The Minnesota Dachshund Club will NOT be holding a January
specialty at the River Centre in 2009. The Club will be
holding two Specialty shows on Thursday and Friday August 20 and
August 21 of 2009. This will be held at the Washington
County Fairgrounds. These two events will give exhibitors
and spectators the opportunity to attend four days of showing
including the St. Croix All breed shows held on Saturday and
Sunday. There will be obedience and rally as well as the
conformation classes. We look forward to seeing you all there.
